Booking/Cancellation Policy

Important: For appointments paid in advance, cancellation or rescheduling must be completed at least 3 hours before the scheduled appointment time. A late cancellation, late rescheduling request, or no-show causes forfeiture of the prepaid service payment and any prepaid tip.

1. Appointment reservations

Appointments are reserved for a specific Veloz location, barber, date, and time. Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact information and reviewing booking details before confirmation.

2. Pay Now appointments

Cancellation: To cancel without forfeiting the prepaid amount, cancellation must be completed at least 3 hours before the appointment.

Rescheduling: To preserve the prepaid amount, the rescheduling request must be completed at least 3 hours before the original appointment.

7-day rescheduling window: The replacement appointment must be scheduled for a date within the next 7 calendar days after the original appointment date, subject to availability.

Day 8 or later: A replacement date on the 8th day or later requires direct approval from the applicable Veloz location. Approval is not automatic.

Late cancellation / late rescheduling / no-show: Failure to cancel or reschedule at least 3 hours in advance is treated as a no-show for payment-policy purposes, and the prepaid service amount and any prepaid tip are forfeited.

3. Timely prepaid cancellations and refunds

If a prepaid appointment is canceled at least 3 hours before the appointment, the prepaid service amount and prepaid tip are eligible to be returned to the original payment method. Processing time depends on the payment processor and card issuer. A timely reschedule may instead transfer the eligible prepaid amount to the approved replacement appointment.

4. Book Now · Pay Later appointments

Customers choosing Pay Later do not pay for the service during online booking. Veloz tracks cancellations and no-shows to protect appointment availability.

After more than 3 canceled appointments in a calendar year, Veloz may restrict the customer from future online booking.

Restricted customers may be required to prepay or obtain direct shop approval for future appointments.

The booking system may identify accounts showing frequent cancellations or no-shows for management review.

5. Late arrival

Please arrive on time. Late arrival may reduce the available service time or require rescheduling. If the service can no longer reasonably be performed without disrupting later appointments, the appointment may be treated as missed.

6. Right to decline or cancel service

Veloz reserves the right to decline, cancel, or refuse to honor an appointment when reasonably necessary, including repeated cancellations or no-shows, suspected fraud or booking abuse, abusive or unsafe conduct, or operational circumstances. If Veloz cancels a prepaid appointment for reasons unrelated to a customer violation, the customer will be offered a reschedule or eligible refund.

7. Exceptions

Management may make reasonable exceptions for emergencies, severe weather, or other extraordinary circumstances. Any exception is discretionary and does not permanently waive this policy.

8. Changes beyond 7 days

If a requested replacement date is on the 8th day or later, contact the selected Veloz location directly to request approval.

Terms of Service

These Terms of Service apply to appointments booked through the Veloz Barber Shop website and online booking system. By completing a booking, you agree to these Terms and the Booking/Cancellation Policy presented during checkout.

1. Booking information

You agree to provide accurate, current information, including your name, phone number, email address, selected location, service, barber, and appointment time, and to review all booking details before confirmation.

2. Appointment availability

Displayed appointment times are subject to availability. A booking is final only after confirmation. Veloz may make reasonable schedule adjustments for staffing, emergencies, operational needs, or other circumstances.

3. Appointment length

Appointment length is the total of the services selected at booking. Actual service time may vary based on the service, hair type, requested style, consultation needs, barber workflow, and shop conditions.

4. Payment options

Pay Now: You authorize the payment processor to charge the amount displayed at checkout, including any voluntary tip.

Book Now · Pay Later: Payment is due at the barbershop in connection with the scheduled service.

Prices may differ by location. The price shown for the selected location at booking controls the online reservation.

5. Tips

Tips are voluntary. A tip added to a prepaid appointment becomes part of the prepaid booking amount and is subject to the Booking/Cancellation Policy, including the disclosed no-show and late-cancellation rules.

6. Cancellation, rescheduling, and no-shows

The Booking/Cancellation Policy is incorporated into these Terms and controls cancellation windows, prepaid forfeiture, rescheduling limits, repeated-cancellation restrictions, and related booking consequences.

7. Customer conduct and right to refuse service

Customers must treat staff and guests respectfully. To the extent permitted by law, Veloz may decline or discontinue service for abusive conduct, threats, harassment, suspected fraud, unsafe behavior, repeated booking abuse, or circumstances making the service unsafe or impractical.

8. Minors

Appointments for minors must be booked by, or with authorization from, a parent or legal guardian. The adult making the booking is responsible for the booking information and associated payment obligations.

9. Appointment communications

By providing a phone number or email address, you authorize transactional communications reasonably related to the booking, including confirmations, reminders, changes, cancellations, and rescheduling notices. This is not consent to unrelated promotional marketing.

10. Website and system availability

Temporary outages, display errors, synchronization delays, or other technical issues may occur. If an obvious system error conflicts with the actual shop schedule or confirmed transaction record, Veloz may correct the booking and will make reasonable efforts to notify the customer.

11. Service results

Barbering services involve professional judgment and customer preferences. Customers should clearly communicate desired style, length, and other preferences before service begins. Not every requested style is suitable for every customer's hair or condition.

12. Payment questions and disputes

If you believe a booking charge is incorrect, contact the applicable Veloz location promptly for review. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable consumer-protection or payment-card laws.

13. Privacy

Booking information may be used to operate appointments, process payment, communicate about bookings, maintain booking records, prevent abuse, and support legitimate business operations, subject to applicable privacy requirements.

14. Changes to Terms

Veloz may update these Terms. The version presented and accepted during the booking process applies to that booking unless applicable law requires otherwise.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Massachusetts law and applicable federal law, without limiting mandatory consumer rights.
